Welcome to my new website! Here you will find recipes that are all 400 calories or less. I spend a lot of time cooking and like trying out new recipes, but I’m also on the never-ending feat of trying to lose weight. So wanted to start this blog that will encourage me to not only cook lower-calorie, but tasty meals, but also attempt to raise a little bit of money for the NHS.
In the last year, like the majority of the population, the NHS became a big focus of mine and my families life.
Despite avoiding covid-19 itself, my father had a 4 month stint in a spinal unit at Stoke Mandeville hospital, and was discharged in time for Christmas 2020. And my closest friends parents both were treated for covid-19 and a “widow making” heart attack but are both doing well now. My aunt and uncle have both been hospitalised due to covid-19 but again, although are still suffering they are home again. All thanks to the amazing NHS.
